Kiseitaka children's foundation uganda | Doreen's life saving journey

Image
Doreen is a brave 10-year-old girl from a very गरीब and vulnerable family in rural Uganda. Her life took a painful turn when she developed a serious medical condition—a liver tumor that caused severe swelling of her abdomen due to fluid buildup (ascites). This condition has made even the simplest activities, like walking, extremely painful and difficult for her. Before getting help, Doreen’s situation was critical. Her family could not afford medical care, proper nutrition, or even basic daily needs. With no stable support system, her condition continued to worsen, putting her life at serious risk. That’s when Kiseitaka Children’s Foundation Uganda stepped in. As a community-based organization dedicated to helping vulnerable children, the foundation took responsibility for supporting Doreen’s medical journey and her family’s survival needs. Through the generosity of donors, well-wishers, and supporters from around the world, a fundraising campaign was launched with a goal of $4,00...

Kiseitaka children's foundation uganda | faith and strength journey

The enemies may hate our family because we worship God loudly and together, but we are not ashamed of our faith in Jesus Christ. We are a poor farming family, yet we choose to trust God through Jesus Christ—our Savior, our healer, and our only road to the Lord. This video shares an update on Doreen’s journey to healing. Doreen is facing a serious illness, and this road has been filled with pain, fear, and uncertainty. However, through every challenge, we continue to stand firm in faith, believing that God is still working, even when the situation looks impossible. We believe prayer changes things. We believe God uses people around the world to bring hope, healing, and restoration. And we believe that if we all trust God and walk together in love, this world will truly be a better place to live. We humbly invite you to: 🙏 Pray for Doreen 🤝 Stand with our family 💙 Support her medical treatment if you are able 📢 Share this message so it can reach more hearts Every pr...

Kiseitaka children's foundation uganda | urgent help needed

Image
Yesterday, our hearts were shaken by a call we never expected but could not ignore. A family reached out to Kiseitaka Children’s Foundation Uganda with a cry for help. Their baby girl—only 3 months old—has been diagnosed with a heart condition known as Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD), a hole in the heart that is preventing her little body from functioning as it should. Every breath she takes is a struggle. Every day that passes without treatment puts her life at greater risk. This family has done everything they can. They have prayed. They have hoped. They have knocked on doors. But the reality is painful: they do not have the financial capacity to access private hospitals or specialized cardiac care. Public options are limited, slow, and uncertain—yet this baby’s condition does not have the luxury of time. As a foundation, we believe no child should suffer or die simply because they were born into poverty. Today, we are standing with this family and humbly calling upon c...

Today, I visited Doreen’s home once again, this time carrying a food package for her family. Standing with her mother as she received the food reminded me why this mission matters so much—why we continue to stand with vulnerable children and families who have been quietly suffering without help or support. Doreen is a 10-year-old girl from Nankoma Sub-county, Bugiri District, battling a serious kidney-related condition that has caused her stomach to swell and affected her growth for the last two years. Her mother, a single parent, has struggled to provide even the basics—food, good bedding, and proper medical care. Their living conditions speak of a family doing their best with almost nothing. The little support we delivered today—corn flour, millet and soya mix, sugar, juice, soap, and other essentials—brought visible relief to the mother. These are small acts, but to a family in deep need, they mean hope. They mean someone cares. However, Doreen’s medical condition requir...
